Urine Hormone Tests

Urine Profiles

24-hour Comprehensive Profile

The most accurate and comprehensive way to achieve and maintain balance between Testosterone, DHEA, Estrogrens, Progesterone and HPA-Axis. The 24-hour Comprehensive Hormone Profile includes metabolic pathway markers for each leg of the Steroidogenic Pathway that afford practitioners the ability to avoid common hormone misinterpretations, achieve better clinical outcomes and detect common health issues early, such as Type II diabetes, hypothyroidism, metabolic syndrome and hormone-related cancer risk.

First Morning Void Profile

Once a patient is on track with a therapeutic plan, the First Morning Void is a good way to monitor therapies that are not focused around the HPA-Axis (which can only be monitored in a 24-hour profile). The single-sample collection covers an 8-12-hour window of hormone assessment, which has better reproducibility and accuracy over serum or saliva testing and includes the Testosterone, DHEA, Estrogen and Progesterone metabolites, as well as the anabolic and catabolic pathway markers.

Sex Hormone Balance Profile

If your patient has stable cortisol and balance between the anabolic and catabolic metabolites, this profile can be used to monitor hormones, hormone metabolites and their ratio to one another to fine-tune metabolic pathway alterations in the primary hormones of Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone and DHEA. This profile does not assess the balance between the anabolic and catabolic pathways.

24-Hour Basic Hormone Profile

The most accurate and comprehensive way to achieve and maintain balance between Testosterone, DHEA, Estrogrens, Progesterone and HPA-Axis. The 24-hour

This profile is specific for patients who have normal hormone metabolism and a balanced anabolic/catabolic ratio (confirmed by the 24-hour comprehensive profile in previous testing) who require monitoring of the primary hormone levels with diurnal cortisol and cortisone levels. This is also a useful profile to periodically review patients who have maintained stability in therapeutic plans.

Adrenal Profile

When balanced primary hormones are established, practitioners can achieve and maintain balance in patients suffering from obesity, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, adrenal issues, hypothyroidism and many other conditions associated with the HPA-Axis
